About Me
I am honored to be an instructor and coach at ASL Pro Company. Growing up in a deaf multi-generation family, I have been using American Sign Language since birth—a foundation that has deeply shaped both my personal and professional life. With a robust background in ASL instruction and years of hands-on experience, I am passionate about empowering others to connect and communicate through sign language.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts from Gallaudet University and have built a diverse career. My experience spans relay communications, educating deaf and hard of hearing students from preschool through high school, and supporting new parents with deaf and hard of hearing infants and toddlers. I am also an advocate for Deaf autistic children. Since 2020, I have had the privilege of teaching ASL courses at a community college, further refining my approach to instruction.
At ASL Pro, I aim to create an engaging and supportive learning environment that celebrates diversity and inclusion. My teaching philosophy centers on clear communication, interactive learning, and personalized coaching, ensuring every student reaches their full potential.
Fun Fact: I once taught my Bichon Frise, Lucky Buffalo, almost 20 signs—including WALK, DANCE, FRISBEE, and BATH — an experience that perfectly captures my creative approach to communication and learning.
I look forward to contributing to the ASL Pro community and inspiring a new generation of sign language enthusiasts.
