About Me
My name is Antines Davis. You can call me "NuNu."
As a native of Maryland, born and raised in Baltimore and currently residing in Anne Arundel County, I have deep roots within the local community. Additionally, I am an alumnus of the Maryland School for the Deaf, which has played a significant role in shaping my identity and passion for advocacy within the Deaf community.
After graduating from the College of North Central Bible College (now North Central University) in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with a Bachelor of Arts degree, I discovered my talent and passion for performing and signing in American Sign Language (ASL). This journey culminated in my winning the title of Miss Deaf Minnesota in 1991, a groundbreaking achievement as the first Black Deaf Minnesota Queen.
Returning to Maryland, I have remained actively engaged in various activities and organizations within the Deaf community. In addition to my involvement, I have pursued opportunities as a motivational speaker and blogger on social media platforms, where I share insights and experiences that relate to diverse audiences/. I can contribute my expertise, share my personal experiences, and inspire others. Whether it be through motivational talks, workshops, or performances in ASL, I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to engage with the audience and make a meaningful impact.
