Why Baby Signs?
Boost Baby’s brain development.
Studies show that learning Baby Sign Language has many cognitive and developmental benefits including speaking clearer, having an expanded vocabulary, achieving literacy earlier, achieving better grades in school, and even increasing Baby’s IQ up to twelve points above the average range.
Empower your baby to be understood.
Bond with your baby as he/she shares the world with you. Don't miss the first time Baby signs mommy or daddy; Baby’s excitement at spotting a bird or a dog; Baby asking you to tickle his/her tummy again and again. You will never forget that moment when she signs and her face lights up because she knows you finally understand.
Replace crying with communication.
Baby Sign Language lets babies as young as six months old (and possibly younger) communicate their needs so there is simply no need to cry. Your baby can tell you when he/she is hungry, wants more, or is all done; If he/she is too cold or too hot; Or that he/she is sleepy, or just wants his/her blanket or a hug. Never again be helpless at two in the morning trying to guess what a sobbing baby wants.

Complimentary Baby Signs Session
Have you been told your child has any level of hearing loss?
Hearing parents with hearing babies are often encouraged to use baby signs for cognitive language development when, unfortunately, even medical professionals have encouraged hearing parents not to sign with babies and toddlers with hearing loss. The National Science Foundation conducted a 10-year study and found astonishing results that have yet to be implemented in some areas. Regardless of decibel level hearing, limiting visual language communication for babies and children with any level of hearing loss can be devastatingly damaging to cognitive language development, especially during the critical language development period for a child's brain.
Whether your child's hearing loss is mild or significant, whatever communication or surgical choices you have made,
we would like to offer a free Private Session in a supportive, judgement-free space, as well as other resources you may or may not currently know are available or have access to.
